What do we offer?

  • A large selection of children’s books in a bigger area than before making it easier to browse
  • Space for younger members to sit and look at books, and even do their homework!
  • A large comfortable library with easy chairs to relax in
  • Over 5,400 books - 1,000 from Cambridgeshire Libraries and over 4,400 good quality donated books, including large print books.
  • Regular change of stock - every month 100 books are exchanged with a fellow LAP (Library Access Point), plus we receive 200 brand new books each year from Cambridgeshire Libraries
  • Reference books, including the latest Oxford Children’s Encyclopedia
  • Books on local history and a large selection of biographies
  • Jigsaws to borrow free of charge
  • "Which?" Magazine – current and past issues
  • Facility to request books from other Cambridgeshire Libraries - free of charge for all children’s books.  £1 per book for adult fiction and non-fiction (cheaper than a bus fare to Cambridge!)
