WRITING GROUP NEWS

Fulbourn Village Library Writing Group has been awarded £700 to produce another book!

'A Walking Guide to the Fulbourn Area' will be written in conjunction with the Fulbourn Forum for Community Action and Fulbourn Village History Society.

Both the village and the surrounding area have a wealth of footpaths, green spaces and buildings of interest that we would like to encourage the growing population to enjoy and treasure.

The Guide will introduce the opportunities for walking in the area, with information on both the human and natural history of the land and buildings.  A variety of routes will be outlined in detail, with maps, line-drawings and photographs to illustrate the area.

The grant comes from the Wadlow Wind Farm Community Fund, administered by Cambridgeshire Community Foundation.

Storytime

If you are 6 years old or under and love stories, please join us for STORYTIME on the third Saturday of every month from 10.30 am to 11 am.

Please bring a cushion to sit on.
